Akkodis is seeking a Program/Project Management Lead for a Contract job with a client in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Risk Management, Project Management, and Data Privacy Compliance, along with a proven track record leading remediation programs involving regulatory and privacy-related issues.

Rate Range: $92/hour to $95/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Program/Project Management Lead Job Responsibilities Include:

• Lead end-to-end remediation programs involving employee data privacy issues, regulatory compliance concerns, and risk mitigation initiatives.

• Manage project plans, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and stakeholder communications to ensure urgent privacy-related issues are addressed effectively and within required deadlines.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, Human Resources, Data Governance, Information Security, and Technology organizations.

• Assess privacy risks, document remediation plans, monitor progress, and provide executive-level reporting on issue resolution and compliance status.

• Ensure compliance with applicable privacy regulations and frameworks including GDPR, DSAR, DPIA, and related data protection requirements.

• Drive governance activities, issue management processes, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen organizational privacy and risk management practices.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Risk Management, Law, Compliance, Public Policy, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of fifteen years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, Risk Management, Compliance, or related leadership roles.

• Demonstrated experience managing enterprise-scale remediation programs involving regulatory compliance, privacy, risk, or governance initiatives.

• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations, employee data protection requirements, and compliance frameworks including GDPR, DSAR, and DPIA processes.

• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, navigate complex organizational environments, and drive successful outcomes across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting privacy remediation initiatives involving employee data, sensitive information, regulatory investigations, or compliance audit findings.

• Knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks, compliance programs, and governance best practices.

• Experience working within highly regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, technology, insurance, or global enterprise environments.

• Familiarity with data governance, records management, privacy impact assessments, and breach remediation methodologies.

• Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CIPP, CIPM, CRISC, or related risk and privacy credentials.

• Experience establishing project governance structures, regulatory response programs, and executive reporting frameworks.

Pay Details: $92.00 to $95.00 per hour
