We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Program Quality Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by implementing robust quality systems and leading cross-functional teams to resolve issues effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
High volume manufacturing experience with a detailed understanding of advanced product quality planning, production processes, testing, kitting, and packaging.
Proficiency in GD&T, metrology, and measurement equipment and techniques.
Experience with statistical techniques including SPC, sampling AQLs, measurement system analysis (GR&R), process capability (Cpk).
Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Ability to discern different degrees of cosmetic defects in order to establish cosmetic specifications with Product Design.
Strong proficiency in JMP and/or Minitab, including statistical analysis, SPC, regression, process capability, and visualization.
Experience with using AI/ML tools to assist in data analysis and building new tools to simplify workflows.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Support new programs in development by establishing quality systems, measurement methods, and analyzing build results to ensure products meet the design specifications.
Analyze build data in order to confirm process capability and identify areas that require attention from Product Design and Process Engineering.
Lead a cross-functional team across time zones to resolve issues through data driven Failure Analysis and Corrective Action (FACA).
Establish new methods for monitoring and reporting status, including Incoming Quality Control (IQC), Outgoing Quality Control (OQC), and Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT).
Implement best practices and learnings across manufacturing sites and products.
Succinctly communicate key updates to senior management and the executive team.
