\nRole Description The Program Scheduler is a full-time hybrid role based in Hartford, CT, with flexibility for partial work from home. In this role, the Program Scheduler develops, maintains, and updates integrated program and project schedules, ensuring alignment with key milestones, dependencies, and resource plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing schedule analysis, tracking progress, identifying variances and risks, and providing clear reporting to program managers and stakeholders. The Program Scheduler partners closely with project and program management teams to support planning, execution, and project control activities, including baseline creation, change tracking, and schedule optimization. This role also contributes to continuous improvement of scheduling standards, tools, and processes to enhance predictability and on-time delivery across complex initiatives.

\nRole Overview
\nThe Program Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing integrated program schedules across business, DT, and technical workstreams. This role builds and manages detailed project plans within Microsoft Project and aligns activities with Jira-based execution frameworks. The Program Scheduler will support a Transformation Director and will ensure program milestones, dependencies, risks, and cross-functional deliverables are clearly visualized and communicated to executives.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nBuild, maintain, and update program-level schedules using Microsoft Project, including detailed tasks, milestones, dependencies, and critical path analysis.
\nCreate and manage Jira-based schedules and workflows; ensure alignment between Jira epics/stories and the overall program plan.
\nMaintain Confluence pages with up-to-date program documentation, decision logs, and integrated status dashboards.
\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs, validate timelines, identify schedule risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
\nProvide weekly and monthly executive-level status reporting, including schedule health, key accomplishments, risks, and upcoming priorities.
\nEnsure coordination across business, digital technology, engineering, and transformation teams to keep the integrated master schedule accurate and proactive.
\nFacilitate schedule reviews, dependency mapping, and roadmap discussions with senior stakeholders.
\nDrive schedule governance processes and maintain traceability between program deliverables and transformation objectives.
\nRequired Qualifications
\n7–8 years of direct experience in program scheduling, project planning, or PMO roles.
\nExpert-level, hands-on proficiency in Microsoft Project (including dependencies, baselines, resource loading, and critical path analysis).
\nStrong experience using Jira and Confluence for planning, tracking, dashboards, and documentation.
\nDemonstrated capability building and managing integrated master schedules across multiple workstreams.
\nProven ability to synthesize complex program data into clear, concise executive-ready status updates.
\nExcellent communication skills with strong executive presence; able to present schedule impacts, risks, and mitigation strategies to leadership.
\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in fast-paced transformation environments.
\nPreferred Qualifications
\nExperience supporting transformation programs in aerospace, manufacturing, or similarly complex industries.
\nFamiliarity with Agile and hybrid delivery frameworks.
\nExposure to large-scale digital or business transformation initiatives.
