Program Scheduler

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Program Scheduler in Palmdale, CA for a one-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.

The Program Scheduler will support program planning and scheduling across multiple mission requirements and locations. This is not a maintenance scheduler role. This position focuses on Integrated Master Schedule development, cost and schedule integration, Critical Path Methodology, proposal scheduling, EVM support, cross-functional coordination, and schedule reporting for complex aerospace and defense programs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with cost and/or schedule and integration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams, projects, or programs.
• Experience delivering presentations to leadership, customers, or other stakeholders.
• Hands-on program planning and scheduling experience.
• Experience supporting Integrated Master Schedule development and maintenance.
• Experience using Critical Path Methodology in schedule network development and analysis.
• Ability to support proposal schedule development.
• Ability to review and support Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development.
• Ability to advise program management on contractual impacts, critical events, schedule risks, cost impacts, delivery impacts, and program dependencies.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate across Integrated Product Teams.
• Ability to interact with engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, production, and other program functional organizations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare status reports, metrics, and presentations.
• Self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment.

• Experience working independently across technical teams and developing a basic understanding of technical products.
• Experience providing risk and opportunity analysis input.
• Experience with Deltek Open Plan.
• Earned Value Management experience.
• Experience with Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report.
• Milestones Professional software experience.
• Experience with capture, research and development, production scheduling requirements, and dependencies between functions.
• Experience working Engineering, Manufacturing, and Development programs.
• Experience with master planning, program scheduling, IMS development, schedule integration, critical path analysis, EVM, IPMDAR, proposal schedules, cost/schedule integration, and aerospace program controls.

What You’ll Do

• Provide planning and scheduling support for multiple mission requirements across multiple locations.
• Assist with development and maintenance of Program Integrated Master Schedule components.
• Support proposal schedule development.
• Review and support Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development.
• Monitor schedule data and advise program management when contractual impacts, delivery risks, cost impacts, or critical events occur.
• Support communication and cross-coordination with Integrated Product Teams.
• Apply Critical Path Methodology to schedule network development and analysis.
• Develop and refine Earned Value Management knowledge.
• Coordinate across engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, production, and other functional teams.
• Prepare status reports, metrics, and leadership/customer presentations.
• Support additional program planning and scheduling responsibilities as assigned.

Pay

• $22.50–$130.00/hour
