Program Specialist | Document Classification/Declassification Review
ProSidian seeks a Program Specialist | Document Classification/Declassification Review engagement team member. This is a contract contingent or contract W-2 (IRS-1099) position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a full-time ProSidian employed W-2 position. The role is aligned under services related to NAICS: 541611 located Washington, DC supporting the Department of Energy's Office of Environment, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS).
This position requires candidates with relevant Energy, Resources, and Industrials sector experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Energy, Resources, and Industrials sector clients such as EHSS.
Job Overview
Provide services and support as a cost reimbursement (Program Specialist) in the Energy, Resources, and Industrials industry sector focusing on human capital solutions for clients such as the Department of Energy (DOE | OC - EHSS) | Office of Classification (OC) | Office of Environment, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) located in Washington, DC and across the Mid Atlantic region.
Responsibilities and Duties - Program Specialist
- Provide support for DOE-certified historical records review
- Assist in developing/revising classification/UCNI guidance
- Policy and procedure development
- Coordinate with program offices for CUI determinations
- Provide logistical support for unclassified and classified meetings
- Manage record collection shipments
Qualifications
Desired qualifications for Program Specialist | Document Classification/Declassification Review candidates:
- Strong understanding of DOE and federal classification/declassification policies
- Familiarity with DOE regulations, including FOIA and Privacy Act
- Experience in technical assistance, records management, and compliance
- Ability to coordinate and communicate with multiple program offices
Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., political science, law, information science)
- 5+ years of experience in records management or classification/declassification
- Experience with federal information security programs
Skills Required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with records management systems
- Proficiency in using classified document networks and systems like C-NET and ESN
- Familiarity with DOE policies
