• Performing site visits to eligible Florida private schools accepting students within the McKay, Gardiner and Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program(s)
• Knowledgeable about laws related to private schools and the state scholarship programs
• Assist in answering questions from the public related to private schools and communicate with private schools on how to register with the Department and submit the annual survey
• Log, track and follow-up appropriately on all private school inquiries submitted to the office. This includes making recommendations for action to the Accountability Manager
• Responsible for working with the Accountability Manager and the Office of General Counsel on the administrative complaint process as related to scholarship eligible private schools subsequent to site visits
• Communicate professionally and timely with other office staff the status of schools
• Coordinate responses as related to external correspondence regarding the scholarship programs and private schools, including Corr Flow emails
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
• This position requires frequent travel throughout the state

• Three years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

• Preference will be given to applicants who have knowledge of laws, rules, policies and procedures relating to K-12 educational programs.

• An associate's degree from an accredited college or university may substitute for two years of experience.

• • Annual Leave - All full-time Career Service employees filling established positions earn annual leave in varying increments dependent upon years of creditable service. Employees with up to 5 years of creditable service earn 8.667 hours per month, with 5 to 10 years earn 10.833 hours per month and those with over 10 years of service earn 13 hours per month. Employees in Senior Management Service and Selected Exempt Service positions are credited with 176 hours of annual leave upon appointment. In subsequent years, the annual allotment is credited on the anniversary date of the initial appointment.
