    Description

    The Program Specialist assists with the overall management of ODP homecare quality operations,

    including emphasis on best practice, quality improvement, and process improvement.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Performs reviews of weekly and quarterly record reviews for Quality Management Programs and Individual Support Plan (ISP)
    • Assists in coordinating and reporting results for the ODP program
    • Provides customer service to Service Coordinators, Case Managers, Individual Participants and Staff
    • Proactively communicates and collaborates with external customers to review services/supports and troubleshoot
    • Creates and maintains best practice guides, SOPs, and ODP QM Plan
    • Works independently under direction of Business Development Manager and Director of Business Operations
    • Identifies areas of improvement within staff training, services rendered and program as a whole
    • Works directly with internal and external staff to train and support best practices in conjunction with the ISP and Chapter 6100 regulations
    • Identifies, documents and communicates issues specific to a lack of progress towards outcomes established by the ISP/Program that impact the delivery of care
    • Elicits new requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, and workflow analysis
    • Performs other duties as assigned/necessary

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Social Services strongly preferred
    • One to three (1-3) years of experience in the Intellectual or Developmental Disability (IDD)
    • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, required
