About the Position

• This is a non-state service, time-limited position.* The Medications for Substance Use Disorders (MSUD) Clinical Coordinator oversees the coordination of clinical services to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care as it relates to Office-Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT). The MSUD Clinical Coordinator supports clinical staff; assists with program planning and implementation; monitors compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards; and serves as a liaison between staff, patients, and leadership. This role is responsible for overseeing daily administrative operations and scheduling to ensure the MSUD program runs smoothly and efficiently. Essential duties and responsibilities include scheduling oversight, clinical staff support, patient care coordination and communication, program integrity and compliance, and program planning and implementation. Examples of duties include creation and maintenance of the MSUD providers schedule in the electronic health record, rescheduling follow-up appointments for clients in accordance with MSUD policies and procedures, daily clinical operation supervision and coordination, answering the centralized MSUD phone number to direct calls to clinical staff when appropriate, and working with MSUD clinical staff to ensure clinical documentation and billing compliance.

What youll need to be Successful

Candidate should understand substance use disorder treatment protocols and co-occurring mental health conditions. Strong communication, coordination, and patient advocacy skills. Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment. Knowledge of state and federal laws related to privacy and SUD treatment. Competency with EHR systems, medical billing, and revenue cycle software.

Preferred Qualifications

Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience and 2-4 years of supervisory experience.
