If you care deeply about supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and like being active solving problems in real time, and making a difference without sitting behind a desk all day, you'll feel right at home here.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead assigned small community-based youth and adult teams with heart—after school, respite, weekends, summer camp —ensuring every participant feels welcomed, supported, and seen.
  • Champion program quality, safety, and a consistently positive participant experience across all service lines.
  • Support and coach Case Managers, building a team culture rooted in clarity, kindness, and accountability.
  • Keep schedules steady and staffing strong so programs run smoothly and families feel confident in our care.
  • Partner with HR to bring in great people and set them up for success through thoughtful hiring, onboarding, and training.
  • Contribute to audits, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts that help our programs grow stronger each year.
  • Participate in the on‑call rotation, offering calm, supportive guidance when services run outside office hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in fast paced environments
  • Understanding of strategies and services related to intellectual/developmental disabilities
  • Strong communication skills and a leadership style rooted in clarity, empathy, and accountability.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs, locations, priorities, and schedules with calm, steady organization.
  • Familiarity with state regulations, documentation standards, and quality assurance practices (or willingness to learn quickly).
  • Comfort supervising staff, coaching performance, and building a positive, mission‑aligned team culture.
  • Tech‑friendly and adaptable—able to learn new systems, support audits, and maintain accurate records.
  • A commitment to supporting youth, adults, and families with intellectual/developmental disabilities with dignity and respect.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between sites (Atco/Montclair)
  • Ability to participate in the on‑call rotation.
