Program Supervisor

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Colorado driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check

Preferred:

  • Two (2) years of direct care experience
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Experience supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities

Position Summary

In addition to Direct Support Professional (DSP) duties, the Program Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality service delivery, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with all program requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Program Oversight

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized service plans (ISSPs)
  • Ensure services are delivered in accordance with plans and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee health, safety, and well-being of individuals served
  • Manage client funds and maintain accurate financial records
  • Coordinate schedules for services, activities, and appointments
  • Participate in service plan meetings and communicate with case management

Staff Supervision

  • Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding of staff
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and evaluations
  • Address employee concerns and partner with leadership/HR on disciplinary actions
  • Ensure staff maintain required certifications and training

Administrative Duties

  • Review and submit documentation, reports, and billing in a timely manner
  • Approve staff timesheets and ensure accuracy
  • Maintain program records and compliance documentation
  • Coordinate medical, dental, and therapeutic services as needed

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in on-call rotation
  • Transport individuals using agency vehicles as needed
  • Ensure household or program site operations meet organizational standards
