Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of job-related experience.

 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In this role, you will extract and analyze historical cost and schedule data from program databases to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns. You will develop and maintain cost models to support program phasing and budget planning, collaborating closely with Program Managers, Engineering, and Finance teams to translate data into accurate budget estimates for internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will create dashboards and reports to visualize historical performance and provide actionable insights to support decision-making

What You’ll Experience:

  • Use your facilitation skills to prepare reports, conduct reviews, and track project materials.
  • Gain hands-on experience with systems like JIRA, Earned Value Management (EVM), and risk management tools.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including Program Management, Engineering, and Finance.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A Bachelor’s of Science or Technology degree, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Project knowledge is a bonus).
  • Ability to analyze and interpret cost, schedule, and performance data.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and concepts like CAM, CDRL/ELIN tracking, and CEAC support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Support Specialist will serve as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for assigned projects, overseeing the financial performance and ensuring alignment with project goals
  • Develop and manage control account plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support project decision-making
  • Build dashboards and reports to visualize historical performance
  • Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards
  • Monitor project financial performance, identify trends, anomalies, and patterns to support forecasting and planning
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to ensure financial alignment and support project execution
  • Assist in the preparation of financial and risk management presentations for senior management and stakeholders
  • Extract and analyze historical cost/schedule actuals from program databases

  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and government contracting regulations
