Program Support Specialist (Part-Time)
Location: Boston, MA | 6-Month Contract
Schedule: Part-Time | 15–20 Hours/Week | Mandatory Coverage: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (DPH Core Hours)
Sigma Inc. is currently seeking a Program Support Specialist (Part-Time) to support our client’s program operations in Boston, MA. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented professional with experience in administrative support, program coordination, documentation management, and working with teams in a remote environment.

Job Summary:
The Program Support Specialist will provide administrative and operational support to ensure program activities run efficiently. The ideal candidate will assist with maintaining records, coordinating tasks, preparing reports, supporting communication efforts, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily administrative support to maintain organized and efficient program operations.
- Maintain spreadsheets, trackers, shared files, and program documentation using Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
- Attend meetings, take detailed notes, track action items, and follow up on assigned tasks.
- Prepare, format, and update documents, presentations, and reports.
- Draft routine correspondence and respond to general email inquiries.
- Support scheduling, coordination, and administrative activities based on changing priorities.
- Communicate professionally with healthcare providers, partners, stakeholders, and members of the public.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is complete and organized.
- Assist with workflow improvements and process coordination.
- Build positive working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Communicate policies and procedures clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work independently while managing deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
- Administrative support experience in an office, healthcare, government, nonprofit, or professional environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Outlook
- SharePoint
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external contacts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting healthcare, public health, government, or community programs.
- Experience managing reports, trackers, and administrative documentation.
- Experience working with remote teams and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or Google Workspace.
