Description of Services:
Reporting to: Director of Administration and Business Processes MBTA
Operations Training Department.
Hours:
The testing site requires approximately 48 hours of weekly coverage, as
outlined in the time frames below. Individual contractors will be scheduled for
up to 37.5 hours per week, with coverage distributed accordingly and
coordinated between the Supervisor and Employee. Please note that scheduled
hours may shift based on operational need.
Location / Schedule:
North Quincy Computer Lab
7:00AM-3:00PM Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
6:00AM-2:00PM Tuesday, Wednesday.
7:00PM-3:00AM once per week, rotating between Tuesday and Thursday.
Proctor site operations include primarily daytime coverage, with occasional
overnight sessions. To avoid unsafe rest gaps while offering the opportunity
for contractors to achieve a full work week, contractors assigned to overnight
coverage may be scheduled for split shifts or partial day assignments on
adjacent days. Overnight coverage requirements may be met through rotational
scheduling among contractors and/or support from permanent staff and are not
guaranteed to occur weekly for any individual contractor.

Detailed Description of Services:
[Primary] Test Proctor and Test Site Point of Contact
Greet and check in employees arriving for scheduled testing sessions.
Verify employee identity and eligibility to take the assigned test.
Assign tests through the learning management system and ensure proper access.
Provide basic instructions to employees on test procedures and rules.
Monitor the testing environment to ensure compliance with test guidelines.
Enforce policies to prevent cheating or use of unauthorized materials.
Troubleshoot minor technical issues related to test access or login.
Maintain a quiet, orderly, and distraction free testing environment.
Report any irregularities or misconduct to the appropriate supervisor.
[Secondary] Administrative Support
Exceptional organizational skills: and the ability to establish and work within
a paperless environment. Strong computer skills are needed.
Inputting data from paper documents into digital spreadsheets. Strong excel
skills are needed
Assist with special projects that require large amounts of data entry.
Transfer data from hard copy to a digital database.
Operate common office equipment, like scanners and printers.
Organize and archive records and documents.
Search for and investigate information contained in files.
Processes requests for files and data.
Provide data entry support across departments on an ad-hoc basis.
Evaluate workflow and reallocate resources or redesign processes to meet office
needs.
Perform related duties and projects as assigned.
Proactive and able to work independently.
Adhere to rules, regulations, collective bargaining agreements (if applicable)
