Program Support Specialist

Location: Corpus Christi, TX 78415 (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $18.35 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Assignment Duration: Temporary Assignment, Estimated 8–12 Weeks

 

Support Workforce Programs That Make a Difference

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Program Support Specialist to provide operational and administrative support within a workforce development environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring program compliance, maintaining accurate records, supporting customers, and assisting the workforce center staff with day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and examine compliance reports to ensure alignment with program requirements.
  • Perform detailed data entry and maintain accurate customer records and case files.
  • Monitor customer communications and participation requirements.
  • Coordinate and track required customer participation hours.
  • Organize, file, and maintain documentation in accordance with program guidelines.
  • Provide customer support and assistance regarding workforce programs and services.
  • Assist workforce center staff with operational and administrative functions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workforce services and customer outcomes.
  • Prepare and submit required documentation to appropriate parties.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and safe driving record required.
  • One year of administrative, customer service, data entry, workforce development, program support, or related experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are strongly preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and data entry.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, management, customers, and community partners.
