Program Support Specialist - Juvenile Justice

Eliot is seeking a compassionate and responsible Support Specialist for our Juvenile Justice residential program. Eliot's Juvenile Justice residential program provides court-involved youth, 

ages 13 to 21, placement while awaiting court proceedings, assessment, or treatment. This 

highly structured, self-contained program provides comprehensive interventions for juvenile offenders, including fully accredited schools and clinical support with individual and group 

therapy, staffed by trained professionals. All components are integrated through a Positive 

Youth Development framework 

Responsibilities:

• Support the execution, implementation and coordination of services and activities related to the needs and strengths of each youth.
• Establish relationships with community-based organizations to broaden and sustain and in-depth network of resources to meet the individual needs of youth and families
• Solicit input from youth about the types of community-based services, resources, and activities that reflect their specific interests and needs
• Monitor school and clinical appointment attendance
• Participate in the development and facilitation of the therapeutic psycho-educational & recreational program schedule, including groups
• Respect the diversity of others by demonstrating and modeling cultural awareness and sensitivity at all times

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Social Work or related field
• Valid Massachusetts drivers license 

Schedule: 10am-6pm, Monday-Friday
