Program Support Teacher - Support for Teachers with Stipulations

The Green Bay Area Public Schools is currently seeking candidates to join our Special Education Department as a Program Support Teacher - Support for Teachers with Stipulations to begin with the 2026-27 school year.

Essential Functions:

• Collaboratively work with new teachers to implement curriculum, assessments, and related tasks designed to improve instruction for students with disabilities.
• Complete coaching cycles with new educators to address instructional and behavioral practices the educator would like to focus on.
• Facilitate professional development opportunities for District staff focused on the understanding and implementation of curriculum and effective instructional resources for students with special education needs.
• Provide support to teachers on interpreting student data and designing approaches to improve student achievement.
• Understand and promote the strategies of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) for students in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE).
• Facilitate the use of research-based and culturally and linguistically responsive instructional strategies and different service delivery models.
• Model effective classroom management, behavioral and instructional strategies.
• Train new teachers on resources and interventions to implement with instructional fidelity.
• Coach teachers in providing positive behavior supports to address challenging behaviors.

Qualifications Desired: Knowledge and experience in Common Core State Standards, District curriculum/interventions, differentiated instruction, behavior and classroom management skills

Qualifications Required: 3 years of successful teaching experience
