The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture is a state wide campus, with faculty based on University campuses, at Research and Extension Centers and in every Arkansas county. It consists of the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station (AES) and the Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service (CES), and is home to more than 1400 employees. The Division was established in 1959 and is headed by the Vice-President for Agriculture. The Division headquarters is located in Little Rock with the rest of the University of Arkansas System Administration. Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Soil Science, Agronomy, or a related field is required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Good written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. The person hired for this position must be able to work outside during sunny and hot conditions in summer as well as cold conditions in fall, winter, or spring. The person must have the ability to travel, with potential of long working hours that may include occasional overnight stays. This person will be expected to have or be willing to secure and maintain an Arkansas Pesticide Application License and FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot License (if needed). This person should uphold a commitment to fostering a diverse, collaborative, and collegial work environment. Exercise initiative, sound judgement, and work without close supervision, while maintaining the ability to respond to the needs of supervisors, subordinates, and clientele.
