Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Java Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot and AWS to design, develop, and maintain end-to-end enterprise web applications. The role involves working extensively with Java, J2EE, and JSF-based systems while supporting modernization and migration initiatives to cloud-based AWS architecture.

 

Note: Only candidates currently located in or near Glen Allen, VA will be considered due to mandatory onsite requirements. In-person interview is required.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement complex full-stack enterprise applications across the full SDLC
  • Maintain, enhance, and support existing applications post-deployment
  • Manage end-to-end software lifecycle in production environments
  • Lead migration of legacy applications to AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Develop scalable microservices using Spring Boot and event-driven architecture
  • Apply cloud-native principles including containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift)
  • Design and build secure RESTful APIs and integrations using OAuth2, JWT, and encryption standards
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and automation tools for continuous delivery
