--- Project Description ---
Design, develop and implement and maintain solutions for
several OMH applications and any requests as needed,
using C#.Net, GitLab, PL/SQL and various other programming
tools. Maintain and support legacy applications using .Net,
PL/SQL, Crystal Reports, and other technologies. Develop
scheduled jobs to update OMH databases as needed.

--- Day-to-Day Tasks ---
1. Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
2. Use Microsoft Visual Studio to write code using MVC
Architecture, XSLT, .Net, JavaScript, Angular, Ajax, HTML, XML
and WCF.
3. Prepare scripts to create and modify existing Oracle tables,
create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, etc., code stored
procedures and packages, convert and migrate data when
necessary.
4. Diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and
data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports.
5. Mentor and assist other programmers, both state and
consultant, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting,
securing and deploying applications, data access, data
communications and system architecture configurations.
6. Use a source code repository, such as GitLab for checking
source code in and out, and branching off new versions of the
source code.
7. Work within the IT Service Management System to take in
incidents and service requests for the application, as well as
request services from other ITS groups.
8. Coordinate service requests with other Chief Technology
Office personnel for releases and changes for the application.
9. Diagnose and debug production issues reported via the IT
service management system. Escalate critical calls as
necessary and join bridge calls to assist in diagnosis.
10. Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to
supervisor.

--- Required Qualifications ---
• 84 Months Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop
and maintain n-tier web browser-based applications, using VB.Net,
C#.Net, ASP.Net, Web Services, HTML, JavaScript libraries, XML,
Cascading Style Sheet and WCF.
• 84 Months Experience with Oracle 10 or higher: Database design
using data modeling tools like ER Studio 8.0 or higher, PL SQL
coding, stored procedures, packages, creating tables, indexes,
triggers, etc., including the use of a tool to write and test SQL code
and manipulate data (such as Toad or SQL Developer).
• 84 Months Experience designing Crystal Reports 10 or above (not
SSRS) and invoking them from VB and .Net applications.
• 72 Months experience using XSLT along with XPATH Expressions
to convert XML data to HTML and display it on the client web
browser.
• 60 Months Experience developing and maintaining applications
which contain Health Care data that fall under HIPAA Protected
Health Information (PHI).
• 60 Months Experience using Model View Controller (MVC)
methodology.
• 84 Months experience working with source control repositories
such as Gitlab, Azure DevOps, TFS and VSS.
• 84 Months experience developing and maintaining applications
which allow for the submission of requests that move thru various
statuses, for example "Saved", "Submitted", "Under Review",
"Returned", "Commented", "Denied", "Approved", etc. and also
send emails to different recipient groups based on request type,
request status, user role, user location, etc.
