We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support our aerospace manufacturing operations. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for developing, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs for precision-machined aerospace components while ensuring all parts meet strict quality, dimensional, and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for machining aerospace components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.
Develop programs using CAM software and CNC controls.
Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies.
Set up and prove out programs on CNC machines.
Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and machining issues.
Make program adjustments to improve quality, cycle time, and machine efficiency.
Work closely with machinists, engineers, and quality personnel to resolve production issues.
Verify finished parts using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
Maintain accurate documentation and revision control for CNC programs.
Follow aerospace quality standards, company procedures, and safety requirements.
Ensure all work complies with customer specifications and applicable quality requirements.
