Job Details

What you’ll be doing:

Set up and run a CNC laser (primarily Trumpf equipment)
Program nests and optimizes material usage using nesting software
Review part files and layouts before cutting to catch potential issues
Verify the first pieces and keep an eye on quality while jobs are running
Sort and stage parts for the next step in fabrication
Support forming operations when needed (press brake exposure is a plus)


What they’re looking for:

Experience running fiber lasers in a fabrication or job shop environment
Familiarity with nesting software
Ability to read prints and work from flat patterns/DXF files
Basic understanding of sheet metal (steel, stainless, aluminum)
Someone comfortable switching between programming and hands-on machine work


Nice to have:

Experience with lasers, plasma, waterjet, or similar machinery
Exposure to press brake setup or forming processes
Background in a high-mix, custom fabrication shop
