Full job description
We’re growing and looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with a strong programming background to help drive our machining operations. You’ll take ownership of programming, setups, and process optimization on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills and our automation cells. This is a mill-focused role, though experience with lathes is a plus.
Why you’ll love working here
- People first culture: respectful, collaborative team that has each other’s backs. Our core values are integrity, craftsmanship, and empowerment and the entire team strives to live them each day.
- We make parts that fuel the space economy here in Colorado and across the United States. You'll be challenged and proud of the work you do and the impact it has each and every day.
- AS9100-certified shop: quality is our baseline, not a slogan.
- Real ownership: you run your work from material pull to final inspection. We value your input and creativity!
- Growth your way: lead projects or mentor teammates when you’re ready.
What you’ll do
- Program (Mastercam), set up, and run 3/4/5-axis CNC mills to deliver production-ready, high-precision parts.
- Leverage automation cells for lights-out and high-mix/low-volume efficiency; optimize fixtures, probing, and tool paths.
- Own the process: material selection, tooling, workholding, and in-process checks.
- Self-inspect using GD&T and document to AS9100 standards.
- Collaborate with a tight-knit team: share best practices, help debug tough features, and keep jobs moving. Help others and have help available when you need a fresh idea.
- (Nice to have) Jump on a live-tooling lathe when needed.
What you bring
- Mill expertise: 3/4/5-axis programming (Mastercam), efficient setups, and confident operation. Lathe experience is a plus.
- Quality mindset: you understand AS9100 discipline and build it into every step.
- Problem-solver: mechanical aptitude, calm under pressure, proactive communicator.
- Autonomy + teamwork: work independently and plug into the team when it counts.
- Embody and have demonstrated in your past our core values of integrity, craftmanship, and empowerment.
Work schedule:
- Flexible work schedule to support your life. Pick what works for you: 4×10s, 5×8s, or 4×9s + a 4-hour Friday/Saturday.
- Anytime between 6 AM–8 PM (choose your window). We just ask that you stick to the schedule that you set so teammates can depend on you.
- OT available at time-and-a-half (never required)
Benefits & perks
- 401k with 3% company contribution (no match required; above-market hourly pay).
- Lucrative quarterly bonuses tied to company & individual performance.
- Healthcare stipend: options to fit your needs ($550/month).
- PTO: 2 weeks from day one; 3 weeks after 3 years.
- Paid sick leave: 6 days annually.
- Paid paternity leave: 2 weeks.
- Additional leave via Colorado FAMLI.
