A growing nonprofit organization is seeking a dedicated Programs & Events Manager to oversee and execute a wide range of family programs, community events, and fundraising initiatives. This role is responsible for end-to-end event planning and execution, with some flexibility in office hours and occasional availability required outside regular hours.
Responsibilities Include:
- Plan and execute family programs, community events, and fundraising events
- Oversee events from concept through on-site execution
- Manage logistics, vendors, timelines, and event budgets
- Coordinate carnivals, holiday events, dinners, and support groups
- Collaborate with the social media team to ensure clear messaging and promotion
- Ensure smooth on-site execution during events
- Track event details and follow up on post-event needs
Ideal Qualifications:- Hands-on experience in program or event management
- Strong organizational and project-management skills
- Proactive self-starter who can lead initiatives independently
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Understanding of the nonprofit space
- Comfortable with occasional evening or Sunday events
Salary: $65k - $85k/Year
