A growing nonprofit organization is seeking a dedicated Programs & Events Manager to oversee and execute a wide range of family programs, community events, and fundraising initiatives. This role is responsible for end-to-end event planning and execution, with some flexibility in office hours and occasional availability required outside regular hours.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Plan and execute family programs, community events, and fundraising events
  • Oversee events from concept through on-site execution
  • Manage logistics, vendors, timelines, and event budgets
  • Coordinate carnivals, holiday events, dinners, and support groups
  • Collaborate with the social media team to ensure clear messaging and promotion
  • Ensure smooth on-site execution during events
  • Track event details and follow up on post-event needs
Ideal Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience in program or event management
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills
  • Proactive self-starter who can lead initiatives independently
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Understanding of the nonprofit space
  • Comfortable with occasional evening or Sunday events
