Description
BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:
The Customer Implementations Project Manager II will lead all aspects of large and complex customer implementations from contract through implementation. This role will work to define statement of work, develop project plans, identify risks and mitigation plans, monitor performance, report status, and ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works directly with the business, sales team, and customers to implement new business.
Responsible for drafting, maintaining and approval of project documents such as the Statement of Work (SOW), Project Plan, Change Requests Lessons Learned, etc.
Develops project plans and drives team to adhere to plan.
Apply lessons learned from previous projects to improve current and future outcomes.
Manages scope of work, recognizes changes in scope and works to control scope.
Focuses on deliverables and holds team accountable to do the same.
Practices Risk Management by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to project success.
Responsible for communication of project status to all stakeholders on a regular basis.
Ensures established schedule, cost and quality commitments are met.
Responsible for administration of PMO processes and procedures.
Works cross-functionally to overcome challenges and solve problems.
Offers perspective and challenges the status quo to drive higher quality decision making.
Builds strong relationships with all stakeholders, including the customer.
Take responsibility for successful product delivery.
Drives quality control on all implementations while meeting customer expectations.
Ensures solutions are following company policies and customer requirements.
Maintains and follows all MSC and PMO standards.
Participate in the ongoing development of PMO processes.
Act as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor and change agent. Participates in change management process.
Maintains confidentiality of necessary information.

QUALIFICATIONS
What You Need:
Bachelor's degree in project management, business, or related field
PMI-PMP certification or equivalent required
5 years' experience leading large-scale projects required
Advanced project management skills required
Independent initiative and proactive nature
Strong communication and organizational skills required
Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
Experience in a manufacturing environment, supply chain, or inventory management
Other Requirements:
A valid driver's license may be required.
Position requires up to 20% travel
This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information ("ITAR") and/or Controlled Unclassified Information ("CUI")
