Position Overview
Seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant Assistant to support financial and compliance operations in the construction industry.
- Assist with certified payroll compliance per federal and state standards, supporting systems like LCP Tracker (preferred)
- Communicate with subcontractors regarding payroll submissions and compliance
- Track and maintain subcontractor documentation such as COIs, W-9s, and lien waivers
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and safety reporting
- Improve workflows and organize compliance records
- Generate compliance reports and collaborate with project teams to ensure accuracy
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years in construction and compliance, proficiency in accounting software and Excel, with experience in certified payroll systems a plus.
