A client of ours in the energy sector in downtown Chicago, IL is seeking a Contract Project Accountant / Billing Specialist to join their team (Hybrid role: 3 days in office).Workday ERP and foreign currency billing experience required!Seeking a Project Accountant to work on project setup, billing, and accounts receivable activities. The Project Accountant supports all billing related responsibilities for local and international engineering projects.General Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerform setup for customers, projects, contracts, and inter-company billing for both domestic and foreign projects in the Costpoint systemWork on projects that include multi-currency billing, foreign taxes, withholding, and retentionAssist with monthly Inter-Company billing processingMaintain responsibility for high levels of accuracy and completeness of bill preparation to ensure that bills are in agreement with client billing arrangements and system recordsPrepare invoice packages for approval by Project Managers, including all applicable backup, as required per contract termsSubmit invoice packages to clients per contract terms, often through online portalsMaintain project invoice/billing files and all supporting documents associated with invoicing/billingPerform project close out and reconciliationAssist with reconciliations of Open Billing Detail to General LedgerResearch and resolve billing and payment discrepanciesPerform additional billing duties as assignedMinimum Job Requirements / CompetenciesBachelor's degree degree requiredExperience with foreign currency billing requiredExperience with Workday required5+ years of project accounting / billing experience requiredStrong experience in MS Excel and Adobe Acrobat requiredDetail oriented team player comfortable in a fast paced, dynamic environmentWell-developed analytical and problem-solving skillsProven ability to prioritize responsibilities and juggle multiple tasks#J-18808-Ljbffr
