Title: Project Accountant

Salary: $90,000–$105,000

Location: Chelmsford, MA (5 Days Onsite)

Must Haves:

• 
  
• 5+ years of construction project accounting experience
• 
  
• Procore ERP experience is required
• 
  
• Strong understanding of job costing, WIP reporting, progress billings, retainage, and change orders
• 
  
• Advanced Excel skills
• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 
  

Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Monitor project budgets, job costs, forecasts, and profitability throughout the project lifecycle
• 
  
• Prepare and manage progress billings, retainage, and change orders while maintaining accurate project financials
• 
  
• Support Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting, revenue recognition, and month-end close activities
• 
  
• Partner with Project Managers to analyze project performance, budgets, and cost projections
• 
  
• Maintain project accounting records in Procore, reconcile project accounts, and ensure compliance with contract terms and financial controls
•
