Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Accounting Administrator in Atlantic Beach, FL. Duties:
  • Project Accounting Administrator will review daily work orders for mathematical accuracy and processing errors prior to posting to project subledgers
  • Assist with vendor setup and ensure all required documentation is complete and compliant
  • Support accounts receivable activities, including collections follow-up on outstanding customer invoices
  • Assist with customer billing preparation and the compilation of supporting documentation
  • Monitor customer invoice and purchasing portals, including document uploads, invoice status tracking, and follow-up
  • Support the coding and reconciliation of credit card transactions and employee travel expenses
  • Collect, organize, and maintain documentation required for audits and compliance reviews
  • Assist Project Accountants in obtaining missing or incomplete project documentation
  • As a Project Accounting Administrator, you will maintain organized electronic records and filing systems
  • Provide general administrative and accounting support to the Project Accounting team as needed
  • Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives during ERP system implementation and transition activities

Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and learning
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous administrative, data entry, customer service, or accounting support experience is preferred but not required
  • Experience with ERP or accounting systems preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior exposure to accounting, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, or project administration
  • Experience working in construction, engineering, contracting, or project-based environments
  • Experience supporting system implementations, conversions, or business process changes
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
