A growing heavy civil contractor is seeking a Construction Project Administrator to support project managers and field teams on infrastructure projects including heavy highway, underground utilities, grading, paving, and site development work.

This role is ideal for someone with construction administration, project coordination, or construction accounting experience who enjoys managing documentation, tracking project information, and supporting successful project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Process and track pay applications, invoices, and project billing documentation
  • Manage change orders, subcontracts, lien waivers, RFIs, and submittals
  • Maintain project files and ensure accurate document control
  • Assist with job cost tracking, reporting, and contract administration
  • Coordinate permits, compliance documents, and project closeout paperwork
  • Support project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and owners throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in construction administration, project coordination, project accounting, or a related role
  • Experience in heavy civil, highway, utility, paving, excavation, or site development construction preferred
  • Familiarity with pay applications, change orders, contract documentation, and construction accounting processes
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; construction software experience is a plus
