POSITION
Project Analyst I

Position Type:
Temporary
Schedule: M-F, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Assignment Length: Approximately 18-Months, possibly Longer.

DESCRIPTION

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Project Analyst I to support operational scheduling, coordination, and data management activities within the Huntington Beach region. This role is ideal for an early-career analyst with strong organizational skills, a customer-service mindset, and an interest in operations and process coordination.

The selected candidate will support scheduling and tracking of field work activities, ensure accurate documentation, and help maintain compliance with internal procedures and regulatory timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Scheduling & Coordination

  • Schedule and coordinate Main Panel Upgrade (MPU) disconnect and reconnect activities
  • Manage scheduling systems and maintain accurate documentation
  • Communicate with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor workflow priorities and manage backlog to meet deadlines

Customer & Stakeholder Support

  • Serve as a point of contact for scheduling-related inquiries
  • Communicate updates, requirements, and approvals to stakeholders
  • Ensure customer access requirements and permissions are properly documented

Process Compliance & Tracking

  • Monitor compliance with CPUC timelines and internal procedures
  • Ensure strict adherence to MPU workflow requirements
  • Track and update work statuses across systems

Administrative & Data Support

  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and tracking logs
  • Support data entry, validation, and basic analysis in spreadsheets and databases
  • Assist with documentation of procedures and operational workflows
REQUIREMENTS
  • 0–3 years of experience in an analytical, coordination, or administrative support role
  • Experience working with databases, spreadsheets, or basic reporting tools
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow established procedures and workflows consistently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Business, Operations, or related field (Bachelor's or equivalent experience preferred)
  • Familiarity with reporting tools or basic programming concepts
  • Experience in scheduling, operations support, or project coordination
  • Exposure to data tracking or reporting systems
