Help Reinvent How Housing Gets Designed, Permitted, and Built in America

Cedar is building the operating system for urban housing delivery. We combine architectural expertise with software, automation, and data systems to dramatically accelerate how projects move from land acquisition toapproved designs and construction. The result: faster timelines, higher quality, lower risk, and more housing in the cities that need it most.

Our team blends architects, engineers, and product builders. We design real buildings — and we build the software systems that make great architecture scalable.

The Role

The Project Architect is primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of Cedar projects. The Project Architect will manage the schedule, staffing and execution of two to three projects, concurrently, in different stages of design and construction. They will be a key contributor to delivering exceptional outcomes for Cedar's customers by streamlining the design and preconstruction process.

The title will include "Architect" if applicant is a licensed architect in the state of Texas, and "Coordinator" if not licensed.

Cedar's architectural team thrives in an intentionally hybrid work environment. We typically come together in the office four days a week to collaborate, spark ideas, and build strong connections, while also enjoying the flexibility of working from home one day each week to focus and recharge.
