Job Description

We are seeking an experienced architect to lead the production of deliverable documents throughout various phases of a project, demonstrating strong technical leadership and document coordination. This role requires a deep understanding of building codes, zoning, and planning regulations, and involves direct work with clients and contractors to ensure the original design intent is maintained.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production of deliverable documents throughout the SD, DD, CD, and CA phases of a project.
• Demonstrate strong technical leadership and document coordination.
• Ensure quality assurance of the design documents.
• Understand and apply building codes, zoning, and planning regulations.
• Supervise, direct work, and offer mentorship to project staff.
• Work directly with clients and contractors during all phases of the design and construction process.
• Facilitate coordination with the Project Designer and Project Manager to maintain the original design intent of the project.

Essential Skills

• Licensed Architect with multi-family/mixed-use design experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
• Experience in construction documentation and administration.
• Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture.
• Registered Architect.
• Experience in dynamic and engaging design creation.

Work Environment

The firm comprises 5 studios with 75 employees based in Baltimore, covering areas such as Housing, Interiors, Graphics & Signage, Commercial, and International projects. While you will have a "home base" studio, you will have the opportunity to work across different projects and studios, providing a dynamic and varied work experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BALTIMORE, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $50.00/hr.
