As a Project Architect in our manufacturing team, youll contribute to projects that enable the heart of our clients successful data center and manufacturing facilities engineering, design and construction. In this role, you will have the chance to work on projects including engineering and design of data centers and other mission-critical facilities. Youll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the clients expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Architecture from an accredited Architectural program
Professional Architectural License and be able to be licensed in multiple states
At least 8 years of professional Architectural Design experience
Expert-level proficiency with REVIT, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office
Knowledge of building codes and applicability to industrial facilities
Understanding of scopes of work, developing budgets, and reviewing schedules
Ability to work well across multiple teams and lead small architectural teams
Have previous project management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in Architecture
Experience with designing data centers and industrial manufacturing facilities
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborating with a team of designers and engineers as Architect/Architectural Lead, youll help us engage with clients and subcontractors, designing some of the worlds most advanced data center facilities.
Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will work together to deliver construction documents.
Plan and conduct work requiring judgment and evaluation, selection, and adaptation of architectural techniques and criteria.
Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and quality control.
Perform calculation checking of others work.
Collaborate with other designers and engineers in the development of layout, technical design, construction drawings, specification, and model creation.
Attend project meetings and take an active role in helping the team resolve concerns and solve problems across all disciplines.
Participate in and champion internal, cross-discipline, and external project quality reviews.
Support field construction efforts, including reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors, and performing field walks.
Perform technical and business presentations with clients and employees.
Perform quality reviews on designs performed by others.
Participate in developing proposals, budgets, and schedules for process-specific work.
