Senior Architect
Techstaff currently has an exceptional opportunity for a senior Architect experienced in large-scale hospitality projects. Duties include:
- Working with the Design Director(s) and project team(s) on conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and production.
- Managing all phases of the design process.
- Innovative thinking, along with the ability to present real-world solutions to new design challenges.
- Assisting in managing client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination.
- Thriving with personal responsibility and accountability, but embodying and embracing open communication and team-oriented success.
- Possessing professional poise and polish, and demonstrating versatile approaches to myriad issues and personality types.
- Being a leader among peers, and mentoring to others.
Desired qualifications include:
- Bachelors' Degree in Architecture.
- 10+ years of experience in large-scale hospitality (hotels, resorts, casinos, etc.) projects.
- Strong skills in programming, planning, and architectural design.
- Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to problem solve both individually and as a part of a project team.
- Proficiency in the use of 3D software, including Revit, 3D Studio MAX, and Sketchup.
- Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Strong graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas.
