About the role
Job Summary: The Project Assistant is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities related to Aero.
Responsibilities:
• Working with operations and sales teams to coordinate field service aero-derivative gas turbine repair and/or overhaul projects from inception to completion. • Ensuring that all jobs meet planned delivery dates and customer expectations. • Communicating regularly and promptly with clients and internal stakeholders regarding ongoing work. • Maintaining project budgets, Inspection Test Plans, and schedules. • Coordinating with 3rd party vendors and internal Sulzer teams. • Continually improve on processes & procedures to support quality and safety growth.
Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate will possess the following: • 5+ years of applicable project coordination, engineering, or operations experience • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Highly effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, MS Project, etc.) • Strong customer service skills and high motivation • General knowledge of aero-derivative gas turbines and/or rotating equipment preferred, but not required • PMP certification preferred, but not required
