Project Assistant/ PCR Coordinator

THE OPPORTUNITY

Iron Bow is looking for a Project Assistant to support the refresh team coordinating PC Refresh activities and other project tasks in support for the Virginia Information Technology Agency (VITA) initiative.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Maintain and monitor refresh / project plans and schedules
• Ensure refresh / project deadlines and SLAs are met
• Participate in daily PCR Team refresh meetings
• Document and follow-up on important actions and decisions from meetings
• Assist in developing PC Refresh strategies and standard set of tasks that can be used by the PC Refresh Team
• Ensure all refresh/project documentation is maintained appropriately
• Additional tasks as required

SKILLS THAT DRIVE SUCCESS

• You have an Associate's degree + 1-2 years' experience as a Project Assistant; experience can be substituted for education
• You’ve been responsible managing large scale orders and corresponding communications
• You’ve spent your career managing smaller projects with 1-2 stakeholders
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Adhering to regulations and performance obligations within contractual agreements is just another day on the job for you.
• You possess strong executive presence, polish, communication skills and emotional intelligence. (Ability to host and conduct meetings.)
• People naturally gravitate to you and want to work for you. Leadership is your middle name.
• You have vast experience applying proper program management principles and practices.
• You have prior experience of managing multiple deadlines
• You have demonstrated the ability to utilize Google map

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• Up to 25% travel may be required for this role.

Compensation and Benefit Information:  

The salary range for this position is $20-26.50/hr. This range reflects the anticipated base pay for the position and is not a guarantee of final compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, contract requirements, and business needs.
