The Undersea Systems Division (USD) of Leidos develops, integrates, and deploys advanced technology solutions that address existing and emerging maritime missions for a range of customers across the Department of Defense (DoD). Our Lynnwood, WA facility is expanding its operations based on significant business growth and is seeking new talent to join our world-class lean manufacturing team. Primary Responsibilities

• Leading the production planning effort for multiple development and production programs.
• Coordinating directly with engineering, configuration management, production management and procurement to ensure accurate, timely scheduling of material and work order flow.
• Creating and maintaining the Kanban Board and Burndown Chart located at the shop floor.
• Using the Manufacturing Requirements Planning tool to drive purchasing and orchestrate kitting and Work Orders to the production floor.
• Establishing standard work procedures consistent with project manufacturing methodologies.
• Working directly with quality control, inventory management, manufacturing engineering and material planners to ensure a harmonious and synchronized operational flow.
• Gathering and delivering documentation to procurement to expedite the purchasing process.
• Resolving impediments to achieving aggressive delivery constraints.

Basic Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of Deltek Costpoint MRP or similar system.
• Background in lean and batch manufacturing practices and environments.
• Ability to work in a full product lifecycle environment from product development through production transition and beyond.
• Product development and production planning background with complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Ability to work productively, collaboratively, and independently.
• Must work on-site in Lynnwood, not a remote work position.
• Secret security clearance or the ability to attain one. US Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

• BA degree and 6-10 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Background in Department of Defense (DoD) business.
• Experience with PLM/ERP/MES enterprise software.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $82,550.00 - $149,225.00
