Project Buyer / Senior Project Buyer - Turbomachinery

As part of the supply chain, the Procurement Department ensures the availability of components, systems and external services for the projects and makes a significant contribution to the success of Everllence's decarbonization strategy. We are looking for a Project Buyer with a perspective on development toward Senior Project Buyer - Turbomachinery - for our site in Poznan. As part of the international purchasing team of around 30 highly qualified and motivated employees, you can expect exciting and varied procurement tasks.

We can offer you the following tasks

• You are responsible for the procurement of project related components and services up to critical ones with a complicated delivery scenario in collaboration with the Category Manager for the product line Turbomachinery
• Managing tail-end supplier base and ensuring availability of requested tailor-made parts
• Responsible for the operational buying process from RFQ to payment and beyond that, until the warranty expires
• Upon gaining seniority development, implementation and maintaining the strategy for the assigned category
• Order handling in ERP (SAP) and supplier collaboration tools
• Collaboration in cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, After Sales and Sales)
• Regular alignment with product centers
• Desk- and Field-Expediting of components and services up to critical ones with a complicated delivery scenario for the assigned categories

You can help us with these qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, engineering or similar
• 3-5 years of experience in project procurement preferred in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Fluent in English and German
• Self-driven and target oriented mindset
• The ability to grasp things quickly and good self-organization
• A willingness to take on responsibility and strive for success
• A confident manner and good negotiating skills
• Willingness to work in a intercultural team
• Team player mentality

Where we need you

Your office will be in Pozna. As a project purchaser, you will mainly work at a notebook. Business trips within the EU will occasionally take place. An introduction lasting several weeks will take place in Germany, among other places.
