Project Controller

CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Project Controller for a global pharmaceutical company based in Miami, FL, with flexible remote options available for candidates located on the East Coast. In this role, you will support financial planning, controlling, forecasting, and reporting within a manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level finance professional who can work independently, manage complex financial initiatives, and partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Employment: 12-Month Assignment, with potential for extension
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Travel: Up to 25%
Pay Rate: $90–$100/hour
Key Responsibilities for the Project Controller:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and controlling activities.
• Analyze direct/indirect costs, actual vs. budget variances, and financial trends.
• Monitor revenue and expense budgets and maintain effective financial controls.
• Identify financial issues and provide recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Lead financial process improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications for the Project Controller:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years of finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Senior-level experience as a Finance Manager, Senior Finance Manager, Finance Director, or similar.
• Experience independently managing finance for a manufacturing site or function.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to work independently.
