Duties:
Field Project Controls Scheduler
- Located at the project site in Claude, TX outside of Amarillo, TX
- Mob/Demob is (USD)1, 000 each/ Per Diem is (USD)175 per day. Must reside more than 50 miles from the project to be eligible for per diem and mob/demob
- Eligible for extension- this is Phase 1 of the project
Project: The Crusoe Goodnight Power Plant Project consist of 13 ProEnergy PE 6000 turbines and 7 trailer mounted DT46 Dynamis trubines producing 700MW of power for Crusoe Energy, Texas. Located at the project site in Claude, TX outside of Amarillo, TX. Per diem is (USD)175 per day.
Experienced level position assigned to a field role specializing in Scheduling. Under general supervision, performs project controls assignments according to training, capability and experience. With additional experience and demonstrated capabilities, the individual is expected to assist in the preparation of larger and more complex project controls assignments.
Understands EPC work process and dependencies between functions. Develop project risk analysis skills.
Scheduling:
Facilitates the development and maintenance of the Level III schedule.
Leads in schedule development and maintenance, including fragnet identification and resource leveling.
Leads critical path and float analysis reporting.
Develops and maintains earned value reports.
Gains understanding of key cost control processes.
Skills:
- Scheduling Software: Mastery of Primavera P6 is essential
- Critical Path Method (CPM)Analysis: Deep understanding of network diagrams, leads, lags, and identifying the exact sequence of activities that drive the project end date
- Earned Value Management (EVM): The ability to link schedule progress with cost data to measure the actual performance of the project against its baseline
- Work Breakdown Structure (WBS): Skill in breaking large, complex projects down into smaller, manageable, and trackable components
- Risk Analysis & Forecasting: Identifying potential schedule delays and evaluating both threats and opportunities to project
- Change Management: The ability to trace, document, and quantify the impact of changes in project scope on the overall timeline.
- Resource Allocation: Strategically assigning labor, equipment, and materials to ensure maximum efficiency without causing bottlenecks
6 yrs' experience of relevant cost control or planning/scheduling experience if no bachelor's degree.
3 yrs' experience of relevant cost control or planning/scheduling experience with bachelor's degree.
