Title: Project Controls Director
Location: IN
Duration: 12-month contract (potential for extension)
Schedule: Full-time, onsite
Pay Range: $150–$200/hour (exempt, all hours worked) DOE
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Director to support a large-scale industrial capital project. This role will lead all cost and schedule functions from initial setup through project closeout, ensuring accurate forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking.
This is a high-visibility position requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to work closely with project teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and manage project cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting systems
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6
- Lead earned value management and performance tracking efforts
- Provide monthly and quarterly cost and schedule reporting
- Manage change control, risk tracking, and forecast adjustments
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate progress updates and schedule alignment
- Support financial systems and reporting tools to track commitments and actuals
- Lead forecasting efforts and support project closeout activities
Qualifications
- Strong background in project controls on large industrial or capital projects
- Expertise in cost control, scheduling, and forecasting
- Proficiency with Primavera P6
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
