Job Description

Administrative Controls Management, Inc. (ACM) is a multi-state project and program management consultancy headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan with offices in Detroit, Michigan; North Charleston, South Carolina; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Columbus, Ohio.

We are currently seeking Project Controls Engineers in and around the Charleston, SC area. 

This opportunity could be hybrid, however, majority of the work is expected to be completed in an office setting with some required travel to project locations.

Job Responsibilities

Project Controls Engineers should be experienced in:

  • Conducting research and analysis to identify areas needing improvement for optimal performance;
  • Responsible for budget management, project finances consolidation and tracking, collaboration with scheduling team, and risk management for the specific site;
  • Developing and updating weekly schedules working with owner and contractor superintendents, field engineers, and project managers;
  • Evaluating project schedule progress, performance and proactively identify developing problem areas;
  • Analyzing critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to project completion and recommend alternative work paths;
  • Conducting analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules.

Qualifications

ACM seeks those with 2 to 20+ years of experience.  Over the past 41 years, ACM clients have resided in every industry, however, our work is concentrated on construction projects within the manufacturing, utility, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, automotive, and institutional industries.  Preferred degrees include Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business Administration, and/or Mathematics.

It is expected that any candidate who applies will have either construction, or manufacturing, utility, or petrochemical industry experience.  Applicants must be authorized to work for any United States employer.  ACM is unable to sponsor or take over any sponsorships for an employment visa.
