Project Controls Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for weekly and monthly schedule updates. Gathering project updates from mutliple areas of the company, maufactures, and contractors. Publishing update reports on project SharePoint. Monthly and/or weekly update meetings with project manager to discuss project progress and at risk activities.

Perform primary project controls assignments to support Project Managers. Accountable for generating reports, assisting with control activities, responding to data requests and developing/maintaining/supporting project schedules and/or detailed cost tracking. Coordinates with Project Managers to obtain weekly and monthly cost and schedule updates. Assist the Project Managers in providing accurate project forecasting and review of expenditures. Must have advanced MS Excel skills. Experience with Primavera P6, SAP Work and Asset Management required depending on additional job details. Familiarity with data analytics reporting tools preferred. Have practical knowledge of Project Managment practices. Knowledge of how to preform schedule analysis on project updates and sumbitted contractor schedules. Risk managament skills. Knowledge on how project life cycle schedules work.

- 10+ years of project lifecycle scheduling experience
- Proficiency in Primavera P6
- Risk analysis and project management process knowledge
- Experience supporting large, complex projects
- Proficiency in Excel for reporting
