Length of Assignment: 12 months –possibility to extend based on performance/position need

Pay range: $40.00 - 42.79/hr on w2 (all inclusive)

Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days out of office)

Job Description:
This position is responsible for maintaining cost control processes for Project Construction Projects.
Key duties include the following:
  • Preparing cost forecasts, processing invoices, monitoring actual project costs and communicating key updates to project stakeholders
  • Developing estimates utilizing historical data
  • Provide monthly updates for executive presentation and as-needed financial analytics
  • Conducting meetings with internal and external organizations to track deliverables and ensure timely execution
  • Attend monthly team meetings
  • Provide task order request tracking and processing support
  • The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of cost control principles, with a preferred focus on energy market / commodity exposure. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills are essential, along with effective project management and organizational abilities. Candidates should demonstrate sound decision-making and problem-solving skills, proficiency in math and computer applications, and strong analytical capabilities. The role requires the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels and external stakeholders, consistently apply good business judgment, and manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Additional requirements include the ability to verify data accuracy and prepare clear, accurate, and well-structured reports and supporting documentation. Strong command of MS Office application (Excel / Power Point) and proficiency with relevant SAP modules.
  • Support an initiative to provide better visibility into PJM invoices, forecasting and invoice tracking.
  • Key focus will be energy market and/or commodity experience

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
  • Bachelor (preferred discipline: Accounting, Finance, and Business)
  • Minimum HS Diploma Required
