Join us and be part of a thriving company with endless possibilities for career development.General Purpose:We are seeking a skilled and proactive Project Control Specialist (PCS) to develop and support schedule and budget activities across our project portfolio. This role encompasses project control activities on a portfolio of projects, cost and progress management, forecasting analysis, planning, scheduling, and preparation of project reporting. Additionally, active collaboration with project team members during the development of budgets, forecasts, schedules and monthly cost reporting updates are central to this role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Ability to create and work within Cost and Work Breakdown Structures (CBS-WBS)Provide operational support to Project Managers and project teams throughout the project lifecycleCreate project budgets from as-sold estimatesCollaborate with Project Managers, Finance & Accounting on financial reporting and forecastingAnalyze and report cost variances, cash flow forecasting, and resource planningAssist with the development of and maintain resource loaded project schedulesLead schedule reviews with site staff, project engineers, and client representation Support the definition of progress reporting rules of credit for projectsAnalyze and report schedule impactsTrack critical activities and changes to the critical path impacting the projectAble to run critical path reports and support the project team in critical path analysisAbility to coordinate multiple sources of schedule inputs into a master schedule  Qualifications:5+ years related project controls work experience (Cost Specialist, Scheduler) on Refining / Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Metals, or engineering capital projects.Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, construction management, or similar degree10+ years of project controls experience in place of degreeFamiliar with large capital programs, extensive pre-construction programming, and scheduling experience maintaining EPC multi-group, multi-disciplinary project schedulesExperience managing contractor relationships and understanding of best practices in the design and construction industryExperience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systemsExperience with Vista Viewpoint is a plusExperience in cost and progress managementUnderstanding of critical path method scheduling using Primavera ProductsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAble to build and maintain strong and trusted working relationships with internal stakeholdersAble to work as part of a team with strong organizational skillsSkilled in MS Word, Excel, and Power PointOccasional travel may be required
