Project Coord- Facilities

Description: The Project Coordinator - Facilities Engineering provides planning and oversight of all operationally-funded, interior finishes-related projects such as mechanical, electrical and plumbing.

Typical Duties:

• Plans, prioritizes, schedules and completes interior painting, flooring & ceiling replacements and other mechanical, electrical and plumbing-related projects using either in-house resources or contractors.
• Coordinates and communicates project-related activities including scheduling with customers/end-users and other JPS staff
• Ensures that infection control risk assessments (ICRA) and Preconstruction risk assessments are performed on all relative projects prior to implementation and meet regulatory requirements.
• Oversees projects from implementation through completion and validates all invoicing from contractors for work performed.
• Evaluates project performance of external contractors and reports concerns to Facilities Engineering Director/Senior Manager.
• Develops and manages both pre and post-inspection activities relative to approved permit holders using in-house or third-party resources
• Ensures all "active" ICRA/PCRA permits are properly closed and that all above ceiling work meets minimum regulatory requirements.
• Performs other related job duties as assigned.
