Are you ready to take your career to new heights? We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Project Coordinator/Accountant to join our team in the construction industry. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in construction accounting, month-end reporting, WIP, and AIA documents. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience in a similar role and a proven track record of success. This role will require a high level of financial acumen, project management skills, and a deep understanding of the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Coordinator/Accountant, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks including but not limited to:

1. Overseeing all financial aspects of our construction projects, from initial budgeting to final cost analysis.
2. Coordinating with project managers, suppliers, and clients to ensure all financial data is accurately recorded and reported.
3. Preparing and analyzing Work in Progress (WIP) reports and managing month-end closing processes.
4. Reviewing and processing AIA documents, ensuring compliance with industry standards and contractual obligations.
5. Providing financial forecasts and conducting variance analysis to identify potential cost overruns and revenue shortfalls.
6. Collaborating with the finance team to develop and implement effective financial management strategies.
7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess the following:

1. A minimum of five years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience with WIP, construction accounting, month-end reporting, and AIA documents.
3. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA designation or equivalent is highly desirable.
4. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the organization.
6. Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
7. Proficiency in relevant accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
8. A strong understanding of the construction industry, including knowledge of relevant financial regulations and industry best practices.
