Overview

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support large-scale wind farm construction projects. This role combines project coordination, field support, and technical review responsibilities across multiple active construction sites.
The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure smooth execution, resolve on-site issues, and keep projects on track from pre-construction through completion. This is a dynamic role with significant field exposure once construction begins.

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of utility-scale wind construction projects across multiple sites
  • Assist with project management activities including scheduling, documentation, and coordination
  • Review engineering drawings and participate in pre-construction design and planning meetings
  • Provide on-site oversight during construction to monitor progress and resolve day-to-day issues
  • Coordinate with internal teams including materials, sourcing, engineering, and project management
  • Track project progress, updates, and key milestones
  • Assist with preparation of reports, presentations, and project documentation
  • Facilitate communication between field teams and internal stakeholders
  • Support issue resolution, risk identification, and process improvements
  • Contribute to data tracking, document management, and collaborative project tools

Required Qualifications

  • 0 3 years of experience in project coordination, construction, engineering, or related fields
  • Exposure to construction or industrial project environments
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to work in both office and field environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in utility, energy, or industrial construction projects
  • Exposure to wind energy or turbine-related projects
  • Background in engineering, construction management, or related field
  • Knowledge of project management processes or tools
  • PMP certification (or progress toward certification)
