Our client is a highly detailed custom home builder and high-end remodeling firm in Austin known for their hands-on approach and unmatched attention to architectural detail. Since the early 2000s, they have grown into one of the top-choice builders in the area by building a foundation on construction excellence, quality control, and a deep dedication to homeowner satisfaction.

They are seeking a Project Coordinator who operates with a service-minded approach toward clients, colleagues, and trade partners. This role is designed for a reliable professional who views complex, fast-moving builds as an opportunity to collaborate and solve problems with a proactive, "can-do" attitude.

Position Overview

The Project Coordinator will support the successful execution of high-end custom residential projects by coordinating communication between Interior designers, architects, vendors, subcontractors, clients, and internal team members. This role is responsible for helping keep finish selections, specifications, purchasing, schedules, budgets, and project documentation organized and moving forward efficiently. The Project Coordinator will also assist with planning, organizing, and documenting meetings across multiple project stakeholders while supporting the Project Manager and field teams throughout the construction process.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day coordination of a large-scale luxury residential development project

  • Manage and maintain project documentation within Procore

  • Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement tracking

  • Perform takeoffs and assist with estimating support as needed

  • Coordinate with architects, designers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal project teams

  • Track purchase orders, bids, and material procurement across multiple project phases

  • Organize meeting notes, action items, and project communication

  • Read and interpret architectural and construction plans

  • Help maintain project schedules, workflows, and documentation accuracy

  • Support field operations through regular onsite involvement

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in construction project coordination or related roles

  • Experience in luxury custom residential construction strongly preferred (High-end commercial construction or architectural experience may also be considered)

  • Strong proficiency in Procore / Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents and plans

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Professional written and verbal communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent hands-on experience highly valued

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
