Project Coordinator - Construction - ManhattanOur client is a well-established New York City General Contractor specializing in interior renovations and tenant improvement projects throughout Manhattan. Known for delivering high-quality projects and fostering employee growth, they offer a collaborative environment and exposure to a diverse portfolio of construction work.As a Project Coordinator - Construction - Manhattan, you will be responsible for:Supporting Project Managers throughout the construction lifecycleManaging project documentation, logs, and correspondenceTracking RFIs, submittals, and change ordersCoordinating subcontractors, vendors, architects, and consultantsMaintaining project schedules and milestone updatesAssisting with procurement and material trackingPreparing meeting agendas and distributing minutesMonitoring project budgets and contract documentationSupporting field teams with project coordination activitiesAssisting with project reporting and status updatesMaintaining organized project files and recordsSupporting project closeout and turnover activitiesThe successful candidate will have:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred1-4 years of construction experience in project coordination, project engineering, or administrationExperience with interior renovation or fit-out projects preferredUnderstanding of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentationProficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project management softwareStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and follow-throughDesire to grow into an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager roleWhat's on offer:Competitive base salary: $70,000 - $100,000+Annual performance bonusMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous PTO and paid holidaysCommuter benefitsProfessional development and mentorship programsClear advancement path to Assistant Project ManagerExposure to diverse Manhattan interior renovation projectsCollaborative and team-oriented cultureStable backlog of work with a respected NYC contractor
